Liking and commenting works similarly to other social networking sites such as Facebook. An activity can receive likes or comments from any user be default. If an activity is set to “Friends”, only people you are following can comment on your activity. If an activity is Private, only you can comment on it.

The activity feed shows activities from those you are following in addition to your own. Your public activities will appear in your followers feed.
